Park Place is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Residents at Park Place receive room and board, education in medication management and independent living skills with quality experienced staffing 24 hours a day.
The culture of Park Place is very similar to that of a family home. The enhancement of skills needed to live independently occurs in a respectful and natural manner.
All members of the house participate in the daily routine of preparing meals, menu planning, grocery shopping, laundry, housekeeping, and social activities, much like in an average family home.
Each person is actively involved in their recovery process by participating in identifying goals that will assist them to live independently. As in all of Liberty Centre Services programs, residents are treated as an individual with unique needs. In response to those needs, identified services are implemented to assist the resident in moving toward their goal of independence.
Helping All Members Participate in Daily Home Routines
Respite services are also available at Park Place. This is a service for individuals who may benefit from a short-term stay, receiving assistance in their recovery process to avoid the need of a psychiatric hospitalization.
“Park Place taught me life skills and how to take care of my mental illness and it’s symptoms.”
