This is a professional level direct service position with persons served at Liberty Centre Services clubhouse program. This position provides psychiatric rehabilitation services to adults recovering from serious mental illness using the clubhouse model.
The responsibilities include sharing in the operation of Liberty Centre clubhouse programs. These programs include the work ordered day (prevocational work), social/recreational program, employment program, housing program and educational programs. Responsibility for the operation of these programs lies with staff. Central to this responsibility is the engagement of persons served in all aspects of the clubhouse. This is performed by helping persons served to experience the sense of belonging, with a focus on their strengths, talents, and interests.
This position exists to assist adults with serious mental illness to maximize their optimal level of independence within the community.

A bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, sociology or a related human service field are preferred but 2 years of coursework in a human services field and/or 2 years of experience/training will be considered.
A valid Nebraska driver license and a good/insurable driving record are required.
